Akira's Powers
Akira is a psychic. In most mediums, this is a very broad term, but it's even moreso one in Live a Live. His powers manifest in many, many different ways, and this post will detail them all as thoroughly as I can manage.

VITAKINESIS
- While not instantaneous, Akira's body regenerates itself rapidly. Cuts and scrapes are gone in minute or hours, while more serious wounds are gone within weeks or months. Blood is replaced quickly and even deep wounds tend to seal themselves up in a short amount of time. This takes no energy and works on its own inside of his body.
- He can concentrate his power into himself to heal his body instantaneously of all but the worst wounds, though it saps his energy to do so.
- This power can be channeled into someone else. This heals all but severe and fatal wounds instantaneously, while fatal and severe wounds are lessened immensely. This saps Akira's energy just as if he would've used it on himself.
PYROKINESIS
- He can easily manifest flames, but only in a small range around himself. While the fire is mostly manifested straight out away from him, he can hold and create it in his hands.
- His own fire doesn't harm him nor anyone he doesn't want it to. However, he can only control fire he's created; standing sources of flame hurt him and are useless to him.
- His fire is immensely hot -- its temperature is roughly in the range of 2,370 °F and the flames appear blue. However, just as the fire won't burn someone he doesn't want it to, it also doesn't radiate anywhere close to the amount of heat it should for those same people.
CRYOKINESIS
- As with fire, he can easily manifest his ice around himself. However, the range with ice is far, far wider -- a very long range around himself, but still within "spitting distance," so to speak.
- His own ice doesn't harm him nor anyone he doesn't want it to. However, he can only control ice and only ice he's created; existing sources of ice are useless to him and, though he can freeze it via his powers, standing sources of water are also useless.
TELEPATHY
- Akira can read surface thoughts of people. He needs to be close by them -- roughly within comfortable talking distance -- but he can do it.
- He can sense the "make up" of someone's mind, be it evil, good, crazy, sane, friendly, aggressive, etc. This is generally what he uses as a "first impression" on whether or not to trust people.
- While mild, he has the ability to manipulate dreams. This allows him to "project" himself into someone who's dreaming to talk to them privately and lucidly. This requires fairly close range and he must remain in full concentration.
- He can give or receive memories, but they aren't implanted. Rather, he is shown a memory from someone's mind or he shows someone a memory from his mind -- like watching a movie, you know the emotions that are there, you may feel emotions yourself, but there's no risk of mistaking it for an actual memory of yours.
UMBRAKINESIS
- Akira also has the ability to manipulate shadows and darkness in a (presently) mild sense. Usually, this just takes the form of balls of shadow that he uses to hit things a distance away from him.
MANIFESTATION
- Akira can twist and manifest his energy into metaphysical or physical forms, though generally forms depend on how much energy he can expend.
- The two things he most often manifests are a blonde angel with white robes and a sword and ghostly red-eyed skulls.
- He can create one of these in direct melee range immediately. More than one or at any distance requires him to stop and focus.
